Members of the Findlay Grrrowl were selected for league awards following the season’s conclusion over the weekend.
Chris Clark received the league’s Top Defenseman award for his efforts as part of the stingy Grrrowl defense, which allowed the league’s lowest goals at 211.
Dave Erickson received the UJHL’s Coach of the Year honors after the Grrrowl turned its season around mid-year and grabbed the Knox Cup over the top-seeded Jamestown Jets.

“It’s an honor for myself and Chris to receive these awards after all the hard work we put in this season and turning this team into a force in the league,” Erickson said. “But it took the effort and contributions of every person in this organization and all the guys on this team to put it all together for the fantastic finish we had to the season.”
