Recap:

The Findlay Grrrowl swept its second consecutive series and took care of the Penn Enforcers with ease over the weekend in 6-2, 6-3 wins Saturday and Sunday at The Cube. 

The Grrrowl overcame penalty minutes and took advantage of injury and depth shortcomings on the Penn roster and dominated in each contest, out-shooting its opponents 47-32 on Saturday and 53-43 on Sunday, and controlling possession throughout each game. 

The Grrrowl performed sound defense as well and kept the Enforcers from threatening on offense. 

The Grrrowl unleashed shots on Penn GK, Mike Mastracci, who was suffering through a groin injury, and put the Enforcers away with five third-period goals during the series. 

Zach Bachnak had two goals in each contest and finished with four goals and an assist and Josh Tucker had two goals and three assists in the series. Chris Clark had a score and three assists as well to aid in the Grrrowl sweep. 

In a non-league contest on Friday, the Grrrowl fell to Wooster 5-1. The game did not count in the UJHL point standings. 

Bachnak and Tucker have become a dynamic duo of late. The duo ranks among the league’s best in points per game. Tucker now has 16 points in just nine games played with the Grrrowl (1.7 avg.). Bachnak is fifth in the league with a 1.58 PPG average.
