ELKINS PARK, PA- The Findlay Grrrowl completed its fourth sweep this season and its first on the road as it took care of business and quieted the Philadelphia Thunder with ease in a pair of wins Saturday and Sunday in Elkins Park.

Despite Philly’s 1-0 start, Kevin Tejchma got the Grrrowl on the board and Brock Donnelly got two quick scores as the floodgates opened for the Grrrowl.  Seven other Grrrowl players joined in the scoring parade.

Forward Adam Gillikan had two goals and center Kevin Quinn emerged with a pair of scores and an assist in the game’s late minutes. Quinn’s pair was his first of the season.

Josh Tucker also had a goal and an assist and Zach Bachnak, Tejchma, Chris Gendron and Sean Hagerty tallied scores of their own.

Lucas Fournier had 22 saves in the win equaling Louis Morin’s total From Saturday.

Gillikan finished with three goals and an assist and defenseman Kevin O'Connor had four assists in the series to lift the Grrrowl to its third straight sweep.

A tired Grrrowl squad, who had spent ten long hours on the bus prior to the game, handled Philadelphia in a 4-1 Game 1 win on Saturday.

The Grrrowl (16-16-6) have now won six straight UJHL games and continue to build momentum and become serious contenders for the Knox Cup this season.
